Adam kidn@pped and Damon returns to Coronation Street for Sarah in New Year spoilers

Adam’s kidnapping coincides with ill luck in the New Year, and it’s no accident that he returns to the cobblestones in search of Sarah. Daisy also encounters Bethany

According to Coronation Street New Year spoilers, two well-known characters are back on the cobbles, and a beloved couple’s relationship is strained by Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney).

After their New Year’s Eve date, Sam Robertson’s character Adam Barlow and Tina O’Brien part ways on the cobblestones, not understanding that Ciaran Griffiths’ character Damon Hay has returned and is watching the two of them closely. Adam leaves for his workplace as Sarah heads home, only to be abducted and shoved into the back of a van.

When Damon walks into the bistro the next day, the police are called. When Colson Smith’s character Craig Tinker shows up to ask Damon about the kidnapping, Sarah gives him an alibi.

Then, after Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) is struggling following the disclosure of his gambling addiction, Damon offers him a job renovating a pub. Telling Ed he can pay him to renovate the bar before the builder’s yard is sold, Damon admits he’s taking his money out of the bistro.

When Dee-Dee learns that Ed has made a deal with Damon, she becomes concerned and tells her dad to stay far away.

Subsequently, Will Mellor’s character Damon gets a call from his imprisoned brother Harvey Gaskell. What does he want?

When Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) discovers that Daniel Osborne (Rob Mallard) appears to be focusing on his former flame Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon), she feels embarrassed.

However, Daisy’s mood improves when Jenny Bradley (Sally Ann Matthews) informs her that they have permission from Waterford’s to return to the pub on a full-time basis while the sale is still pending.

Jenny tells the Platts that Bethany and Daniel had slept together, which makes Bethany angry with her family. Jenny does this in support of Daisy. Daisy and Bethany square up when Bethany walks into the Rovers.

Thanks to Cassie, the owner of the scarred Porsche comes back to the garage early to retrieve his vehicle. He is shocked to discover the damage done and makes threats to sue.

When Cassie says it will be like new by tomorrow, Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) and Abi Franklin (Sally Carman-Duttine) are both in disbelief. Cassie is happy that Kevin keeps blaming Abi for the vehicle incident.

Cassie is about to confess to Kevin until Roy Cropper (David Neilson), who is demanding that she come clean, gives her a full-time job. Kevin becomes enraged with Abi once more when the Porsche’s owner refuses to pay the fee when he picks the vehicle up from the shop.

Julia Goulding’s character Shona Platt convinces Lauren Bolton, played by Cait Fitton, to take a job again at the café. When Peter Ash’s character Paul Foreman’s voice talker device is delivered, he tremblingly plays some of his recorded lines using the app.

Roy is not allowed to go with Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) to Terry Fensley’s (Jamie Foster) hearing.
