Coronation Street spoilers: Cassie Plummer tries to tempt Kevin Webster amid affair fears

When they recruited Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) at the Coronation Street garage, Kevin and Abi Webster (Michael Le Vell and Sally Carman) took a risk on her. Would Abi later regret that choice?

In recent episodes, Cassie has been causing a lot of trouble. She took a client’s Porsche and drove it to purchase Christmas gifts, only to return it with a massive dent on the side.

Kevin was irritated by her use of tools to conceal her traces and give the impression that Abi had inadvertently caused the harm.

After Cassie phoned the owner early on in tonight’s (January 2) episode, things only got worse when the owner showed up to pick up his car.

When he saw the scratches on the side of his prized vehicle, he became enraged, but Abi reassured him that they would restore it for free.

Clever Cassie assured Abi not to put the guilt on herself, but Kevin made it plain that he believed there was no one else to blame as she pondered how his number could have possible been among the list of customers Cassie needed to contact.

Abi took the vehicle off to be mended after finding someone who could quickly repair the damage, leaving Cassie and Kevin alone themselves in the garage.

After laughing at his awful jokes all day, Cassie seemed to be doing her hardest to win Kevin over by giving him plenty of praises as he worked on another vehicle.

Is Cassie attempting to intentionally cause a rift between Abi and Kevin?

Cassie only want Abi’s death. Does she think Kevin is cute? I’m not sure. Star Claire Sweeney said, “I think she just wants that structure of stability.”

She has seen how Abi has resolved itself. She blamed Abi for the car’s damage, which I believe was terrible, but logically, Abi would never lose her job but Cassie would. All she wants is to hold onto her job. She loves her job there. She just crossed the boundary.

It’s intriguing as Cassie’s desire for Abi’s life is hardly implausible. It’s not as if she’s staring at someone like Maria, who has never made a mistake, or even at someone who, you know, has a whole different life than Real Housewives. For Abi, life has essentially been hers.

There are a lot of parallels between Cassie and Abi. It’s understandable why she starts to think she may have what Abi has and even begins to feel something for Kevin.

Claire would want to see Cassie in a relationship, even if she is unsure of what the future holds for the Webster’s Autos staff.

It would be wonderful if she could enter a relationship, discover love, stability, and a little sass. That would be really nice. My desire for Cassie this new year would be to get her a snog and some lippie.
