After putting Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) through a lot lately in Emmerdale, his true father Amit Sharma (Anil Goutam) makes a startling pledge that would undoubtedly end up ruining him.
Like everyone else, Jai is still having difficulty accepting that his beloved Rishi Sharma (Basker Patel) died at the bottom of the steps. After learning that he was adopted, as well as the fact that Rishi’s real father Amit was there when he passed away, put him into a tailspin.
Even Suni Sharma (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana), who was attempting to persuade Jai that it was an accident, became sceptical when Jai declared that Amit had to have murdered him.
Jai, along with most of the community, was believed that he killed Rishi in order to conceal the family’s adoption secret. As a result, Amit sought refuge in Caleb’s flat.
at this latest video, Amit asks Suni if he wants to go out to dinner after they both have coffee at The Hide.
“Any particular reason?” queries Suni.
As soon as he mentions how hard life has been lately for everyone, including Suni, who is still healing from a homophobic attack, Amit advises that he bring his lover Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope).
Suni praises him for attempting to patch things up and appears satisfied.
When Jai arrives at that point, he finds Amit and Suni speaking and is not impressed.
When Suni suggests that they all “try not to be angry,” Jai yells at him to stop and demands to know what Amit is doing there.
Amit is told to leave Jai alone and to depart.
As Jai’s father, Amit retorts that it doesn’t alter how he feels and makes the promise, “I won’t give up on you.”
Jai will now inform Suni that he must terminate him from his position as chef at The Hide in order for them to be able to move on.
Will he ever acknowledge Amit as his biological father, and will this ruin his relationship with Suni?
