Emmerdale spoilers: Liam Cavanagh and Manpreet Sharma confirm huge news ahead of Paula Lane’s debut

Some exciting news! (Picture: ITV)

In Thursday’s (January 11) Emmerdale episode, Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) and Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) revealed some noteworthy news in a conversation with Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson).

Wendy was met by the two coworkers who had chosen to go to the bar after ending work early.

Manpreet and Liam expressed their condolences to Wendy, who is going through a difficult time due to the unexpected and painful death of Heath (Sebastian Dowling) in an automobile accident.

Wendy was interested to know what Liam and Manpreet had been up to in order to divert her attention.

The local surgery is officially shifting houses, they then confirmed!

Afterwards, Manpreet, Wendy, and Liam were talking about the process of packing up the company and relocating it to a larger, nicer space in the café.

Paula Lane will play Ella Forster (Picture: ITV)

The surgery is set to relocate to Brook Cottage, the former home of Bernice (Samantha Giles).

This announcement comes ahead of the arrival of newcomer Ella Forster, portrayed by former Coronation Street actress Paula Lane.

Next week, Ella and I will cross paths when Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) and Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) go to a veterinary gala.

Ella will eventually show up in the town and start talking to other characters. While working at the new practice, the newbie becomes entangled in an intriguing romantic plot as she settles in.

Paula Lane made fun of the fact that a romance was already going on in the operation. Thus, I’m not sure. There is a little amount of competition and perhaps some pyrotechnics. There’s a little triangle of affection.

However, one never knows what could occur behind closed doors. We are now constructing a brand-new set, and the surgery will be located on Main Street. At that point, all of these characters will kind of emerge; I’ll be in the centre of the hamlet, figuring out the new surgery.
