Emmerdale spoilers: Exit story for Aaron Dingle as he makes decision following Chas’ cancer diagnosis

Will Mack change his mind? (Picture: ITV)

Soon after moving out of Emmerdale, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) feels more alone than ever and chooses to pack up his stuff on the theory that everyone would be better without him.

Since his return, there haven’t been many instances when Aaron has been happier or more optimistic. It was evident that he was having difficulties after Liv’s (Isobel Steele) passing when Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Caleb (William Ash) took him back to the Dales. He started snapping at everyone who made eye contact with him out of sheer rage for the world.

This week, a vicious battle between Aaron and Cain will mark a significant turning point in their continuing conflict.

Following the incident, Liam (Jonny McPherson) is taken aback to learn that Cain has left the hospital on his own.

The Dingle family gathers around Cain as he gets back to the bar, leaving an isolated Aaron unsure of what to do.

Liam and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) discuss her prognosis later in the week. Chas chooses to inform her family after giving it some thought.

Chas confesses she has cancer and explains what is going on as a family dispute breaks out.

Aaron stays away and leaves the group of family members who had gathered to support Chas.

When Chas learns that Aaron is about to depart, Mack (Lawrence Robb) runs over to try to talk reason into Chas’s head.

Aaron claims he doesn’t want to discuss and walks away when Mackenzie attempts to reach him.

Is Aaron willing to open up to Mack?

If that’s the case, would this motivate him to remain in the village?
