Will Belle really go through with the wedding?
As Belle Dingle prepares to walk down the aisle with Tom King, alarm bells are going off.
However, the Emmerdale favourite is even more concerned about her beau’s troubling attitude before their big day.
Belle Dingle, played by Eden Taylor-Draper, made the decision to ask Tom King, played by James Chase, for his hand after one unsuccessful proposal that resulted in her being injured.
As fans of ITV will recall, Belle orchestrated a lavish show in commemoration of her love with Tom, in which the ice dance duet Torvill and Dean performed their finest routines; to her surprise, he accepted her proposal.
However, there are more warning signs appearing everywhere, as Tom is obviously pressuring Belle to go down the aisle.
Next week, Belle will be expecting Tom to be more informed about their wedding than she is, and she will want to be updated.
The group that plans “a Sten do” for the stag and hen includes Belle, Tom, and Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough).
But when Jimmy King, his uncle (Nick Miles), clumsily turns down the invitation to be his best man, Tom becomes upset.
Belle and Tom decide to shorten the wedding since they are concerned that it would not be considerate of the village’s problems.
They declare that they will not have groomsmen or bridesmaids, but Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) has a mischievous twinkle in her eye.
When the “Sten do” day finally arrives, Suzy is horrified when Tom enters the office and sees Belle’s wedding gown.
Tom becomes irritated at being kept at a distance when Suzy informs him that Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) is now making the wedding cake.
Later on, Suzy reveals that Tom has already seen the wedding dress to Belle, who is overjoyed.
Mandy and Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) chain Belle and drag her home for a “proper” hen party as the Sten gets underway.
With the addition of a cardboard cutout of a “hunked up” Tom, the women rejoice as Belle is obviously having the time of her life.
Tom, however, starts missing Belle right away and becomes wasted while the Hens keep having fun.
Subsequently, Tom becomes more worn out as he confides in Suni Sharma (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana).
As the night comes to an end, Belle takes a drunken but adoring Tom home.
Will she, however, see that his actions are abnormal?
Is their romance really doomed?
