Coronation Street spoilers: Steve’s outrageous demand as Roy and Leanne are in danger from sinister villains

Next week, two of our favorite characters from Coronation Street will be facing certain death when savage thugs demanding his blood approach cafe king Roy Cropper (David Neilson), who is being held responsible for the death of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton).

All of this is part of a terrible week for him, as additional evidence surfaces that casts doubt on him and then his plan to honor Lauren during a vigil backfires.

Jane Danson’s character, Leanne Battersby, is similarly on the verge of catastrophe when she gets drawn into a potentially dangerous circumstance.

She appears to be in risk of becoming a cult member after being seduced by a powerful man who takes advantage of her emotions.

In other news, Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) receives unfavorable news that goes beyond her ex-husband Steve McDonald’s (Simon Gregson) proposal.

Furthermore, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is once more enraged with Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon).

Monday March 18

As Roy tells Nina and Yasmeen he has been invited to return to the police station to be interrogated, an online sleuth watches from the cafe.

Max decides to pay Reece a covert visit in prison after overhearing David and Shona speculate about the possibility that Lauren’s father’s far-right group may be involved. He informs Reece that Roy is mistakenly accused of Lauren’s murder when all he did was clean the apartment for her.

Subsequently, Roy is by himself at the café, save for two suspicious individuals seated at a table. Roy knows he’s in danger when one of them gets up and locks the door.

Amy persuades Steve that telling Tracy about Tommy’s transfer to Spain is the wisest course of action. Steve can’t contain himself and informs Tracy that Tommy has accepted a position in Spain as a football coach with the Rovers.

Now that Tommy is out of the picture, Steve offers to Tracy that they try their marriage again.

Gemma puts on a brave face and goes to Oakhill with Linda and Joseph, even though they are still at odds and that Chesney is sleeping on the sofa. But it’s obvious that Joseph is bothered by something.

Simon is happy to see that Nick and Leanne are getting along. Simon offers that Leanne join him for the next Institute when she discloses that Rowan gave her some wise counsel. It makes Rowan happy to see her again.

Simon and Leanne thank Rowan for his seminar in the hotel bar. Reaping the compliments, Rowan tells them he wants to see them again. Leanne tells Nick how inspiring the session was and how much she enjoyed it.

Eileen is shocked to learn that Sean hasn’t notified Violet about Dylan’s situation and asserts that she has a right to know.

Eileen puts pressure on Sean to give Violet a call, but Dylan says he’s already spoken to his mother, who is in Ibiza and can’t make it to the court session. Is he being honest with you?

Wednesday March 20

When Nina learns that some amateur investigators have been searching the bat roost site for clues that could implicate Roy in Lauren’s murder, she is horrified. 4

To make sure everything is okay, Roy packs shovels and bin bags into the boot of his car and drives to the roost site. However, Swain is waiting for him to take him to the station as he returns.

Have Roy’s issues increased after his visit to the roost site? At the precinct, Nina, Carla, Bobby, Max, Evelyn, Asha, and Roy gather for Lauren’s vigil. However, other boys heckle Roy and record him on their phones as be talks to the crowd, praising Lauren and how much she meant to him.

Roy is urged by Evelyn, Carla, and Nina to remain quiet until the authorities ascertain Lauren’s true killer. Roy doesn’t waver. Nina confides in Carla in the café about her concerns for Roy.

Dylan enters a guilty plea to possessing a weapon in a public setting. Distressed, Sean listens. Dylan thanks Sean for all of his support and tells him that he plans to put his life back on track after receiving a community service order.

When Sean and Dylan get home, Eileen is there with Violet, who is obviously furious. Violet asks Dylan if he has anything he would like to share with her.

When Eileen called Violet to apologize for missing the hearing, it turned out that Violet was unaware of what had been going on. Violet rips a strip off of Sean because of his poor parenting abilities and because Sean stung.

Paul is slurring his speech, and when his new PA shows up, she finds it difficult to understand him and feels out of her element. Billy attempted to downplay it, but Summer informed him that they had to confront the truth—his speech was getting worse.

Tommy contacts the florist and asks Amy to speak with Tracy on his behalf. He wants to have a chance to clarify his position before he goes.

Upon his return home, a furious Daniel informs Bethany that he has been suspended from work while he is still under investigation and that it was a good idea for her to report him.

Steve signs up for a dating site and adds a photo to his profile in spite of Tim’s misgivings.

Friday March 22

Billy tells a horrified Summer that he is afraid to discuss Paul’s decline with him because he intends to commit suicide if things become too bad.

When Paul learns that Summer intends to postpone her study in America, he begs her to pursue her goals despite his influence.

Later, during the Rovers karaoke night, Paul tells Billy, who is concerned, that he has set them down to perform Stand By Me. What will happen?

When Evelyn reads an online article characterizing Lauren as a sex worker, she is shocked. Roy is adamant that he is not interested in the specifics. When Cassie reads the article about Lauren’s sex business at number nine, she confesses to Tyrone that it reminds her of some terrible experiences.

When Cassie discovers Evelyn and Daisy talking about Lauren in the store, she becomes enraged. Fiz and Evelyn are shocked to learn that Cassie once had to turn to sex work from Tyrone.

Bobby phones the salon, obviously agitated, and shows Max the Lauren story. With the intention of discovering who had informed the media about Lauren’s sex profession, the boys set out to find Sabrina.

Max and Bobby are reassured by Sabrina that she did not leak anything to the media, and she is angry that they would even believe such a thing. Max is really sad as Sabrina storms off.

After seeing a house, Sarah says, “It was the stuff of dreams.” Damon pledges to exert all of his effort to secure the funding. Harvey offers Damon his instructions for his involvement in the crime over the phone while he is incarcerated.

Damon tells Sarah a falsehood, saying he is seeing a new client who could be very profitable, thus he won’t be able to make Harry’s party tomorrow.
