As the hunt for Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) goes on, it appears that ITV fans will get to know a little bit more about Claire Sweeney’s character Cassie Plummer on Coronation Street. According to official soap opera spoilers, Lauren’s absence has garnered local media attention.

When Lauren is referred to as a sex worker in an online article on the youngster, Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) is shocked. When discussing everything with Roy Cropper (David Neilson), he is insistent that he doesn’t want to hear the specifics.

He began to inquire about his biological father, whom Cassie had claimed at the time to be unaware of, as the two came to know one another.

But over the past few months, astute fans have picked up on a few red flags that might indicate his true father is already walking the cobbles.
