STRIKE AGAIN Emmerdale ‘killer’ Amit Sharma chooses new victim in horrifying scheme

The villain targets a legend in the Dales.

After it was recently found that AMIT Sharma may have killed his brother Rishi after all, he may have another surprise up his sleeve.

Next week, as he hatches a horrifying plan, the alleged murderer turns to one of Emmerdale’s longest-serving citizens.

After taking on the role of the enigmatic and obviously treacherous Amit Sharma, former EastEnders star Anil Goutam has been keeping ITV audiences on the edge of their seats.

Amit refuted any involvement in Rishi Sharma’s demise in recent scenes of the Yorkshire-set show, even as his biological son Jai (Chris Bisson) persisted in accusing him of killing his father.

By including Jai in his will and giving him and his other son Suni their half of the Hop, Amit attempted to mend the relationship with Jai.

However, just when things appeared to be improving, Amit subtly showed that he was capable of the worst, and there have been numerous signs that he was involved in Rishi’s killing.

Next week, Amit aims to exploit Dales great Eric Pollard (played by Chris Chittell) in order to demonstrate his true nature as a villain.

Was the store owner able to see right through Amit?

It all starts when Amit devises a crafty scheme and inquires about Pollard’s fortune.

Amit and Pollard up the ante by placing bets on each other’s next games during their pool tournament.

Amit is happy to see that Pollard is excited about the competition and that he intentionally loses in order to earn his trust.

In an attempt to keep things interesting, Pollard is interested when the charming Amit makes a profitable business proposal, and they end up becoming close.

Amit’s scheme might not work out though, since someone in the community is beginning to recognize his methods.

Following Rodney Blackstock’s (Patrick Mower) warning to stay away from Amit, Pollard is anxious to show that he still has his senses.

When Amit and Pollard talk business, the former coerces the store owner into striking a deal.

Pollard is fully committed to their joint enterprise, but the following day, Amit encounters another obstacle when his new target, Brenda Walker (Lesley Dunlop), demands to talk with him first before sending any money.

Amit tries his hardest to make sure Eric sends the money without coming across as overly frantic.

Will Pollard give up his money and have faith in his new friend?

Or was it possible for him to hear those around him?

When Eric Pollard received the Parkinson’s disease diagnosis last year, it came as a huge shock.

Eric found it difficult to talk to people about his illness; in a heartbreaking confession, he finally told Mandy Dingle everything about it. Afterwards, he decided to trust his family and told them about his diagnosis.
