Emmerdale spoilers: Aaron Dingle tells big lie after worrying cancer news

Since her family adores her, it is evident that Chas Dingle’s (Lucy Pargeter) Emmerdale diagnosis of breast cancer has had an impact on them all. However, the finding that her cancer is caused by a defective BRCA2 gene has had a more immediate effect.

This implies that her brothers and children, who are her closest relatives, may also carry the defective gene and be more susceptible to breast cancer.

Eve (Bella James) is too young to be tested, but Chas insisted that her son Aaron (Danny Miller), brother Cain (Jeff Hordley), and sister Caleb (William Ash) all get tested so they would know what they were dealing with. They receive their results in later episodes, and the news isn’t all that good.

When they receive their findings and see that they tested negative, Cain and Caleb are relieved. This also means that neither Cain’s children nor Nicky (Lewis Cope) need to worry about having passed the gene on to their offspring.

For Aaron, it’s a different story. When he finds out he has the gene, he is shocked.

Danny Miller told us, “More than anything, I don’t think he realises the seriousness of it straight away.” “I believe he needs to handle it in a discreet and quiet manner.”

As a result, Aaron lies to Chas. She is ecstatic to learn that her brothers are safe, and Aaron tells her that he too tested negative since he can’t bear to upset her by being honest with her.

Danny thought to himself, “He’s happy that everyone else is negative.” In reality, he is optimistic, but he is covertly supporting the idea that he is also negative. I believe that he is using it as a sort of defence mechanism, saying things like, “I’m negative, and if I see it that way, no one needs to know.” He’s kind of thinking along those lines.

There are only two individuals Aaron could talk to about it, according to Danny, but eventually he might be able to open up.

“I am aware that at some point, Chas and I will have a talk about it.” I believe that she is the only one he would truly open up to and let his guard down without feeling weak and vulnerable—Paddy, Dominic Brunt, perhaps as well.

He feels more at ease concealing the lie for the time being, though. Is he acting appropriately?
