The Walford villainess is shaken after the café fire.
Residents of WALFORD are in shock following the fire at Kathy Beale’s café, but Cindy Beale is devastated.
The iconic character from EastEnders, Michelle Collins, loses control as she starts hunting for someone to hold responsible for the fire the next week.
Rocky Cotton, under duress and desperate for money, came up with a disgusting scheme that has caused chaos all across Walford.
Rocky tried to submit a false insurance claim in order to get enough money to pay loan shark Nish Panesar his dues, so he set his wife Kathy Beale’s café on fire.
But when Rocky shakes hands on BBC One the next week, eager to receive the money he deserves for a job well done, the Beales are inconsolable because one resident’s life is in jeopardy.
Michelle Collins’ character Cindy Beale jumps to the conclusion that Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) is to blame for the event.
Upon seeing a tender moment between Kathy and her spouse Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), she furiously returns to Walford.
In the meantime, Cindy is consoled by George Knight (Colin Salmon) in The Vic, who also urges her to return to the hospital after disclosing some hard facts about her actions.
As she and Ian get past the day’s early events back at the hospital, Cindy seems to have forgiven Kathy.
Regretfully, the police show quite quickly to take Kathy into custody for her part in the fire; is there more going on here than meets the eye?
Later, when Kathy stays in the police station after being questioned all night, word of her arrest spreads around the Square.
In another scene, George and Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) are startled to learn that Cindy spent the night at The Vic after having a disagreement with Ian.
Cindy gets spoiled by Anna Knight (Molly Rainford), but she quickly throws her out when she finds out the villain has been up to her old antics.
Cindy withdraws to No. 45 in an attempt to find calm.
Later on, Cindy extends an invitation to Kathy and Rocky to return to No. 45 in an effort to win back Ian’s confidence, and they happily accept.
Is Cindy holding onto something?
