Emmerdale’s Ruby Fox-Milligan star hints character turns to murder as she’s ‘terrified’

Ruby Fox-Milligan, the newest inhabitant of Emmerdale, has caused a stir since joining the ITV soap opera. She obviously has a temper issue, but might she become a murderer?

Earlier this year, Beth Cordingly made her cinematic debut as Ruby Fox-Milligan, the wife of Caleb Milligan (played by Will Ash). She soon found out that he had been having an affair with Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh).

In an attempt to exact revenge on Caleb, the Emmerdale character has been working behind his back with the crafty Kim Tate (Claire King), and he doesn’t seem to have realized that she has been gradually turning the Dingles against him.

Ruby is a fierce individual who picks battles with anyone who crosses her. To say that she is fiery would be an understatement. During a recent argument between the two, she even tossed an ornament at Caleb after getting upset.

According to ITV spoilers, Ruby’s apology is accepted by Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), and the two become closer as a result of their mutual pain at Caleb and Tracy’s betrayals.

Caleb is startled to see Ruby and Nate conversing peacefully when he storms in. Nate, however, informs his uncle that, in light of his extramarital affair with Tracy, he is far from being forgiven.

After months of acrimonious arguments and deception, has Ruby done enough to get her husband back?

Actress Beth, who plays Ruby, recently talked to Express.co.uk about the troubled past of her character and even hinted that the newbie might turn to murder.

Ruby recalled their initial meeting with Caleb, saying, “They got together when they were teenagers and they’re sort of stuck.”

“In her eyes, she’s giving up everything for him; she turned her back on her family for him,” she continued. She doesn’t seem to have any friends, and he and [her son] Nicky Milligan [Lewis Cope] have been her entire universe since she was sort of 16.”

Beth went on: “So actually, it’s sort of fear-based, as well in that if she loses them, she loses everything.”

The actress mentioned Ruby’s strong desire to create enemies within the town. Beth mocked when someone inquired about getting Emmerdale scripts, saying, “You have to find your own logic through it… Naturally, you have to come up with your own logic whether you’re playing a murderer or something else entirely.

But in order to understand, you must always work out your own reasoning through it. The only explanation for this, in my opinion, is that she is injured; it appears that attacking is her best line of defense.

She appears to behave without thinking and is quite impulsive.

Several individuals have expressed to me. Ah, “Is she similar to Kim Tate?” Furthermore, I don’t think she’s similar to Kim at all because Kim is really cool and collected.”

Beth acknowledged that Ruby views the rest of Caleb’s family as a “threat” because she is just “terrified” of losing him. She clarified: “Instead of being clever about it and befriending them, she insults them.”

If Ruby’s fixation on Caleb intensifies, will she turn into a heartless killer?
