EastEnders spoilers: Jay Brown in for a big shock as controversial love interest returns

In future scenes on EastEnders, Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) will be given a shock when old love interest Nadine Keller (Jazzy Phoenix) makes her way back to Albert Square.

Last autumn, Jay became interested in a sex worker named Nadine. Their connection was problematic from the start, as Jay’s close friends noticed that Nadine resembled his late wife Lola Pearce.

After a challenging struggle, Lola tragically passed away many months after receiving a brain tumor diagnosis in 2022.

After Lola passed away, Jay sought solace in sleeping next to Nadine; however, things became more complex when he paid her to have sex.

Jay received ketamine from Nadine as well, which ultimately caused him to drive while intoxicated and nearly died in the collision.

Nadine is scheduled to visit Jay once more in the spring when Jazzy Phoenix plays her part again.

“Jay was in a dark place when he met Nadine, but things got even worse once they got involved,” one source claimed.

Jay cut ties with Nadine when he realized he needed to make changes in his life, and they haven’t communicated since. It remains to be known why Nadine has returned.

Jazzy is back on television in April after starting her filming already.

Actor Jamie Borthwick, who raved about working with Jazzy to Metro.co.uk at the Inside Soap Awards 2023, is one person who is sure to be happy about this return.

He said to us, “She was great.” To be honest, she was very kind.

She was very conscious of Danielle [Harold’s] personal space and didn’t want to step on anyone’s toes or cause any other offense. She was excellent.

She was quite charming and had a great performance on television. We had a great rapport that we still maintain to this day. We truly had a great time because she is such a lovely lady.
