Coronation Street spoilers: Too soon! Sarah Platt shaken after request from Adam Barlow

In Coronation Street, reality strikes Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) in the face the moment she discovers Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) has lied to her once more.

Damon was determined to show Sarah that he had changed when he came back at the beginning of the year.

Sarah chose to give him another chance and reconnected with Damon; but, his criminal brother Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) has interfered with their plans for the future.

Recently, Damon from the ITV soap opera called Harvey and threatened to tell the authorities everything if he didn’t get paid for his next task.

Sarah says the house she just saw was the stuff of dreams after she gets back from watching Damon conduct another dangerous bargain with the devil.

After making the pledge to try his best to raise the funds, Damon gets a call from his brother outlining the details of his role in the robbery.

With the plan in place, Damon then tells Sarah a falsehood, claiming he is seeing a new client and won’t be able to attend Harry’s birthday party tomorrow.

Harry apologizes once more for being unable to attend the party in the following week after thanking Damon for his VR headset.

Eventually, the curtain comes down on Sarah when she discovers that Ed (Trevor Michael Georges) has been lying to her the entire time about the work he’s been doing for Damon.

By the end of the week, Sarah gives Adam a call at the apartment on the corner shop and asks if they can postpone selling their previous apartment for the time being. It’s obvious that Damon has experienced something, but what?

Adam reassures her that there’s no rush, but Sarah tells him it’s far too soon and rushes out when he teeters toward suggesting it would be wonderful if they could be friends again.

When Damon vanishes from view, what will become of Adam and Sarah?

Will their relationship ever be the same again?
