ITV Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ Ella Forster’s secret amid Liam Cavanagh romance

After kissing love interest doctor Liam Cavanagh in a mysterious sequence on Thursday’s episode, Ella Forster, a newbie to Emmerdale, left fans concerned.

Fans of the popular ITV soap opera Emmerdale believe they have discovered a “sinister” Ella Forster twist.

Fierce newbie Ella made her village debut earlier this year, defending Mandy Dingle at the vets party after the latter was cruelly mocked about her attire by the loud-mouthed managing director, Jules. Later on in the event, Ella became angry with Jules and said she was leaving after he treated her rudely and kept making fun of Mandy. Ella even dumped a drink on him.

When Ella and Mandy got together after the ruckus, Mandy confided that she was afraid about losing her job. Later, Ella said that she was going to look for a new job, and Manpreet Sharma heard her leave. Manpreet gave Ella a job as a receptionist at the doctor’s office after learning that Ella is a PA, and the two have been employed there ever since.

Doctor Liam Cavanagh and Ella had a heated encounter earlier this week when they flirted as they entered the surgery together. A burgeoning relationship between her coworkers, however, didn’t satisfy Manpreet, so she called a meeting to discuss “appropriate behaviour in the workplace” and invited Wendy Posner—who had an affair with Liam—to attend as well.

Despite their first encounter, Ella and Liam eventually acknowledged their attraction to one another on Thursday’s episode. They went to The Woolpack pub quiz together, where Liam made an embarrassing joke about asking whether she knew anything about murders. Liam said they should get together again after the enjoyable evening, and the two of them kissed. But as soon as Kerry Wyatt emerged, Ella leaped clear of Liam.

Liam joked, “I don’t think Kerry’s bothered!” in response to this. Ella, feeling uncomfortable, promptly apologised and hurried away, saying she had caught her bus. Kerry remarked that it may be because Liam is a lousy kisser, sensing the tense situation. Viewers who have taken to Twitter and now X are certain that Ella is concealing something.
