ITV Coronation Street spoilers for next week: Character makes shock discovery and Amy in danger

Coronation Street will see Asha make a huge discovery about Courtney next week whilst Amy will be left in danger when she meets a new villainous character

Next week, there will be some dramatic moments on Coronation Street as Asha makes a significant discovery.

Next week on the ITV soap, Bernie has her day in court after being detained earlier this week for handling stolen goods and Asha makes a startling discovery regarding Aadi’s ex Courtney when on a date with Nina. Amy is keen to concentrate on aiding others rather than on her schooling whereas Audrey comes back to work for the first time following Stephen’s death.

Some huge secrets will come out next week as Audrey rejects her family’s wishes, as Dylan is lured into school bully Mason’s unlawful enterprise and Paul and Billy make a sorrowful plea before of his untimely death.

Bernie heads to court

Bernie finds herself in court next week, and ends up being incarcerated for her offences in handling stolen items. She brings the news to Paul and Gemma that she’s up in court and on Joel’s suggestion, she pleads guilty. Paul and Gemma are astonished, as is Billy, and things grow much worse for the entire family when the court chooses to inflict a jail term.

Paul begs the court to reconsider, as he speaks about his Motor Neurone Disease diagnosis and emphasises that he needs his parents. Paul is also embroiled in another tragic adventure next week, as he and Billy decide they want his true voice to be utilised for his replacement voice as they look to what the future could hold for them.

Asha makes a discovery

Asha is distracted during her meeting with Nina following week and when the two travel out for a dinner at Chariot Square, Ash is startled when she sees Courtney and Darren together. Accusing Courtney of cheating on Aadi, Nina adds that they separated two weeks earlier, and Asha is left feeling put off that Nina didn’t notify her that the couple had gone their separate ways.

Could there be problems coming for Asha and Nina, as Asha dresses to the nines to meet up with Isla. As Asha and Isla have a lengthy talk about business, Aadi is bored and Nina feels side-lined by their evident intimacy.

Amy acts out

Amy is getting less and less focused on her schooling, instead busy attempting to fight for greater awareness on spiking. Next week, Amy is busy crafting posters for the march, while Steve confides in Summer that he hopes Amy would put as much effort into her degree. When Mason and his companions make insulting comments, Amy gets outraged and rushes to beat Mason with the placard.

A police officer instructs her to put it down but Amy protests and decides to disobey the law further, grabbing up a can of paint and splashing it all over the officer’s vehicle. He arrests her for criminal damage, leaving everyone shocked.

She subsequently lies to Steve and Tracy and claims she’s gone to hand in her essay. Angry, she travels to a nightclub and watches in horror as a gentleman spikes another woman’s drink. She knocks the drink out of the lady’s hand and explains to the woman that she was raped by a guy like us and that she’s trying to protect her from the same fate.

When the woman’s gone, Amy rushes over to flirt with Dan, but what is she up to and is she in danger?
