Emmerdale’s Eric Pollard shares a worrying theory over Rishi Sharma’s death

Regarding Rishi Sharma’s passing on Emmerdale, Eric Pollard has offered a troubling theory.

After Amit Sharma, the brother of Rishi, attempted to dupe Eric with a shady business venture, Eric has fallen out of favor with him. Eric began to wonder whether Amit had any more sinister secrets after learning of the swindle.

On Wednesday, March 26, Eric shared his views with Vinny Dingle, speculating that Rishi’s death might not have been an accident as initially believed.

Though Amit has managed to persuade them he had nothing to do with it, Jai and Suni Sharma are aware that Amit was at Holdgate Farm on the day Rishi unexpectedly plummeted to his death.

Vinny came to an agreement to monitor Amit while Eric took his keys and went to Holdgate to look for any evidence. Eric was surprised to find himself at Rishi’s death scene, but he wasted no time in trying to unearth the evidence of Rishi’s guilt.

But as soon as Amit saw Vinny keeping his eyes fixed on the clock, he had a sneaking suspicion that something was wrong. Amit headed toward Holdgate to investigate after realizing his keys were missing.

Regretfully, Eric was challenged by Amit and Jai since he failed to hear Vinny ringing his phone to warm him.

Eric informed Jai that Amit was “up to his eyeballs in debt” and that he had witnessed Amit having a rendezvous with an enigmatic woman outside the hamlet.

By alleging that Eric had declined an investment opportunity, Amit attempted to portray Eric as “unwell”. “I would not be saying any of this without a good cause,” Eric vowed.

“I can tell you’re under a lot of stress and acting strangely,” Jai said to an astounded Eric.

An enraged Eric gave Amit back his keys but cautioned Jai about how “abominable” his father was. Later on, he revealed to Vinny a startling theory: Amit had to have killed Rishi!

The soap opera had previously alluded to Amit’s role in Rishi’s demise, since it was recently disclosed that Rishi passed away concurrently with his brother’s distribution of a substantial inheritance.
