Coronation Street rocked by Bethany Platt’s return as she threatens Daisy Midgeley

EXCLUSIVE: Daisy Midgeley of Coronation Street had been seeing Ryan Connor for a few months, but she just decided she wanted to be with Daniel Osbourne, so she ended their relationship.

When Bethany Platt (played by Lucy Fallon) returns to Coronation Street shortly, it will create a stir because she will be taking advantage of the weak relationship between Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) and Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan).

Before heading out to pursue a career in journalism, Bethany had a passionate but short-lived romance with Daniel.

After they called it quits, he quickly turned his attention to Daisy, who had recently broken up with Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott).

Daniel, however, will eventually learn about Daisy and Ryan’s extramarital affair. He will be disappointed that she cheated on him and frustrated with himself for not seeing it coming.

Daisy may not have much time left before Bethany steps in to take Daniel back, leaving Daisy all alone herself, even though she has just realized that it was Daniel that she truly desired.

Iain MacLeod, the manager of Coronation Street, recently talked about the heated events that would transpire between the four actors.

“I really don’t know who I am rooting for,” he clarified. To sum it, it clearly ends badly as Daisy’s feelings for Ryan cannot remain hidden from Daniel indefinitely.

“Yes, he begins to pick up on their intense affections for one another, and there are many stressful moments.

We see a glimpse of Daniel’s evil side, but we also know that when he finds himself in a precarious emotional situation, he flips a switch and engages in some really cunning deception.

“In the end, everything falls apart, with scenes depicting the breakup of that relationship and Daisy’s major quandary of whether Ryan would be a better option if Daniel wasn’t around.

“Bethany, who has a clear past with Daniel, enters the picture in the middle, and it immediately sharpens Daisy’s focus about her feelings for Daniel.

“All of a sudden, there’s a romantic threat looming for this guy, whom she may have been forcing to move away from, and that makes her feel differently about the whole thing.”

“It will continue far into the next year as all of these unsolved emotions are buried, but like all good buried emotions, they all resurface throughout the course of the next 12 months with a boom or two.

We are all thrilled to see Bethany again, even if she is not quite who she was when we last saw her.

“She turns back up and is instantly very much a faux for Daisy, they are evenly matched now, more on Daisy’s level so a really heavy-weight tussle between these ladies.”

“Hello everyone, it’s me, Bethany!” Lucy said on the Coronation Street official Instagram page, announcing her comeback.

“Today is my first day back on the set. I can’t wait for you all to see what Bethany is up to. I’m worried but also extremely excited.”

The description for the video said, “Look who’s back! Bethany reappears completely restyled. Look out for her when she returns to the screen at the end of the year.” As in
