ITV Emmerdale viewers ‘work out’ who Kerry was on the phone to – and it’s ‘another villager’

Emmerdale viewers saw Kerry Wyatt in a panic on Friday, as someone continued to hassle her over the phone leading to her warning the mystery character

Viewers of Emmerdale believe they know who Kerry Wyatt warned over the phone in this Friday’s episode.

After behaving strangely for weeks and obviously concealing something, the character was terrified when someone contacted her. Kerry claimed she was engaged to Malcolm after a brief affair, but they had a major argument and she had left when she just returned to the program after being off for more than a year.

Shortly after he accused her of stealing, Kerry claimed to have thrown his engagement ring into the water, and we soon discovered that she was concealing a diamond necklace. She spoke of “no expense spared” in the most recent episode when going all out for her daughter Amy Wyatt’s hen party.

Fans have seen her storing cash and jewelry, and she has even offered to pay for Amy’s wedding, while never truly explaining her unexpected wealth to her loved ones. However, it seems that someone—possibly her mysterious ex Malcolm or someone from whom she has stolen—is trying to harm her.

Kerry answered a phone call from an unknown individual on Friday as she was having her hen party. She was about to be caught by Moira Dingle, who told the person calling her to back off.

Kerry was overheard remarking, “How often? Give up bothering me. I have nothing to repay you. Leave my back alone. I’m going to warn you one final time.” Viewers were certain they knew who was on the other end of the telephone, even though she pretended nothing had occurred.

Fans speculated on X that Kerry’s obvious theft of jewelry and cash from the cruise liner she was working on would be the reason for someone’s targeting of her. Thus, is Malcolm going to target her, and will he eventually make his way to the community to exact revenge?

Some followers believe it was a fellow villager with whom Kerry is associated and who may be in debt. “I believe this secret person Kerry is on the phone with is Amit,” one viewer said. I can of no one else who is having financial difficulties except him.”

In the meanwhile, there is another notion that Kerry was being harassed by loan sharks because she owed them money. “Who is phoning Kerry?” a fan said. I wonder whether she owes a loan shark money.”
