Ivan Jones has appeared in the Dales
Daniel Brocklebank, a Coronation Street actor, expressed his satisfaction in costarring in Emmerdale with Corrie. He portrays binman Ivan Jones in the Dales and vicar Billy Mayhew on the cobbles.
Daniel shared a picture of himself on social media yesterday, smiling and pointing to a stopped clip of himself on Emmerdale.
Daniel Brocklebank simultaneously starred in Coronation Street and Emmerdale
The reason for the double soap opera stint is really since Daniel was previously on Emmerdale. His appearances took place in 2005 and 2006, and his episodes are presently available to watch on ITV3 every weekday on Classic Emmerdale.
Daniel added, “Today Ivan Jones entered Classic Emmerdale…,” next to the picture. I’m now a cast member of two incredible ITV series!

Ivan from Emmerdale quickly brought back memories for fans. “I remember it well, the love triangle between you, Nicola, and Paul,” someone commented.
Another person yelled, “Wow, I remember that, Nicola tried to seduce you in a nightdress and heels.”
“I saw you in Classic Casualty the other day too—you’re on TV more than Bradley Walsh,” someone else jokingly said.
In Emmerdale, who did Daniel Brocklebank portray?
Daniel was binman Ivan Jones, who left his marriage and came to work for the Kings. He liked Jasmine Thomas and had an affair with Toni Daggert.
However, Nicola King (then Blackstock) and her brother Paul Lambert entangled him in a romantic triangle. But despite Nicola’s best efforts to entice Ivan, it was Paul that he really desired!
Ivan and Paul dated, but because Ivan wasn’t out, he wanted to keep it a secret. Paul quickly abandoned Ivan because he disliked keeping the facts hidden.
When they got back together, Paul assisted him in gathering a few items from his ex’s home. But when several homophobes encircled Paul and scribbled “ladyboys” on the van they were driving, Ivan attacked them with a cricket bat and revealed for the first time that Paul was his partner.
Though Ivan still tried to keep it a secret from the town, they were eventually discovered because Paul had been wearing a microphone during a fight.
Nicola attempted to woo Ivan once again, but he firmly refused her advances. She said they had slept together, but everyone thought she was lying. The night Paul abandoned Ivan was a nightmare.
After learning the truth, Laurel informed everyone that Nicola had lied. Ivan asked Paul for another opportunity, but they never got back together.
Ivan momentarily left the community to take a new job with Matthew and Sadie King, but he soon returned. But as his employment ended, he left for a new life in Costa Rica.
Daniel on Coronation Street
In Corrie, Daniel plays vicar Billy at the moment. In 2014, he made his soap opera debut as Sean Tully’s new love interest.
Billy’s life has experienced several upside-down experiences. Currently battling motor neurone illness, he is assisting his spouse Paul Foreman, a former drug user.
Paul has said that when things become too severe, he will end his own life. Billy is eager to convince Paul that his illness is not as serious as it seems, even if he has volunteered to assist him.
Paul’s father is scheduled to arrive the following week. Billy is worried since Denny used to abuse Paul physically, but Paul wants to attempt to make up before he passes away. Is this a mistake? Billy will need to pick up the pieces, too?
