Viewers of ITV Emmerdale are certain that Rhona’s hurried judicial decision might lead to marital problems with Marlon Dingle. since viewers are aware, Rhona had previously consented to read an ex-husband Gus’s statement in court, which would be beneficial to him since he may be sentenced to jail for fraud.

In return, Gus signed some paperwork to make sure he wasn’t lying and allowed Rhona and Marlon to see baby Ivy. Tensions were high on tonight’s episode of the popular ITV soap opera because Gus was worried about his upcoming court hearing. Rhona and Marlon discussed their plans for their post-Gus release from jail, should he be imprisoned, prior to the court appearance. When Rhona finally got up in front of the judge to give her testimony, everything first seemed to be going according to plan.

Things took a sharp turn when Rhona abruptly changed her mind and said that she couldn’t bring herself to speak well of Gus after he had stolen from her and gone against her desires. Rhona lost no time in explaining how Gus’s choice to utilize the embryo had impacted her life and marriage when the court asked if she might make another statement.

The judge was compelled to tell Rhona to remain calm as things became heated. The court then disclosed that Gus had been sentenced to eight years in jail after Rhona’s tearful speech, so things weren’t looking good for Gus. Gus went to Rhona, furious at her, and said, “How could you?” Rhona changed her mind, and Marlon was as surprised.
