Emmerdale’s Kim Tate to be caught out over Rose bribe

Dawn’s mother reappears in the village.

In forthcoming scenes from Emmerdale, Kim Tate will be exposed for attempting to buy off newbie Rose.

When Dawn was sent to the hospital earlier this week with a broken arm, her long-lost mother made a surprise appearance in the community.

As Dawn took her little baby Evan in for a checkup, she was unintentionally reunited with her mother. Dawn cut off all communication with Rose as soon as she discovered she was her mother.

Rose’s unexpected return occurs just in time for Dawn to experience a dramatic turn of events when she finds out that her infant son Evan has leukaemia.

Though neither of them is aware that Rose is pursuing them at Home Farm, Dawn declines Billy’s invitation to discuss her love for her mother in scenes that will appear next week.

Dawn asks her stepmother to accompany her if she is going to have a talk with her mother after Kim Tate and Rose’s uncomfortable incident.

In an attempt to use her customary cunning to solve the issue, Kim offers Rose two grand in exchange for her going back to Spain and never coming back.

Rose turns down every financial offer Kim makes, but she’s OK with Kim if she thinks of another method to get Rose out of Home Farm.

Rose is persuaded to leave by this subtly implied threat, but not before stopping by the Woolpack to tell Kerry and Gail about her depressing experience.

Billy is annoyed to find Rose around when he shows up for a pint. When Rose reveals to her son-in-law that Kim has paid her $3,00 to leave the village, he is shocked.

Will is enraged that Kim attempted to buy Rose off without first talking to him, but they are both going to be shocked when Dawn and her mother return to Home Farm.

Dawn declares that Rose has been invited to temporarily move in with them. Is Dawn erring by allowing her mother to re-enter her life?

Weeknights at 7.30 p.m., ITV1 and ITVX stream Emmerdale.
