Emmerdale family torn apart after Ruby Fox Milligan’s standoff with Moira

Exclusive: In yet-to-be-told scenes, Ruby Milligan from Emmerdale is slated to square off against another villager in the Yorkshire Dales.

The only Emmerdale villager with whom Ruby Fox Milligan (played by Beth Cordingly) gets along well with is her son Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope).

Ruby gets into arguments with her beloved Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb), who is married to the local tough guy Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), according to ITV spoilers for the serial drama.

When Moira unintentionally splashes Ruby while driving through the village, Ruby is left furious.

Later, when the ladies cross paths on a single-track road, Moira and Ruby square up against one another and none of them backs down.

A heated confrontation soon breaks out, but Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) intervenes and attempts to defuse the situation.

Who of the women will cave first? If the stalemate goes on for a long time, may it get violent?

Ruby and Moira are both recognised for their assertiveness and willingness to speak out.

The Ruby actor, Beth, recently discussed her character’s dubious personality with Express.co.uk and other media outlets.

She said that Will Ash’s character, Ruby Milligan, and their son Nicky, who they fell in love with as children, are her whole universe.

“In her eyes, she turned her back on her family for him and since she was sort of sixteen,” Beth said.

She doesn’t seem to have any friends, and he and Nicky are her whole universe.

“Maybe she has some friends in Newcastle, where she was bringing up Nicky, but she’s not making it making my friends [in Emmerdale].”

Ruby’s odd responses to other characters on the ITV soap opera, she said, are most likely “fear-based”.

Beth went on to say: “And when she’s so determined, you think to make enemies, it seems like she’s making enemies with the rest of [Caleb’s] new family.”

When Moira and Ruby have to choose a side, will their argument cause the Dingles to fall apart?
