Ella’s dark side ‘confirmed’ in Emmerdale as she issues Manpreet with a warning

When we first met Ella Forster (Paula Lane) in Emmerdale, she left a lasting impression. The brash character was seen defending Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) from a rude guy who was making fun of Mandy. The man was Ella’s supervisor at the time.

She gained the respect of the villagers upon her arrival, especially Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson), of course.

Liam was hesitant to date Ella since he was equally infatuated with Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), but his attraction to the feisty and vivacious Ella quickly turned into a relationship, which he is presently in more because to Ella’s determination than his own desire.

Ella seems to be a lady with depths, and fans have been guessing about her possible history due to a number of clues that have surfaced in recent weeks.

After Ella made a remark about a past acquaintance who was a nurse, there’s even a speculation that she could be related to Emmerdale’s very own insane serial murderer Meena Jutla, who is incarcerated for her many atrocities.

Not to be forgotten, Ella’s supervisor and still residing in the hamlet is Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker), who happens to be Meena’s sister. The two had previously had a run-in when Manpreet attempted to squash Ella and Liam’s attraction to one another out of fear that it would lead to a host of issues at work.

Speaking about improper relationships, Manpreet has lately begun to have a little romantic interest in Billy Fletcher, her personal trainer (Jay Kontzle). Billy hasn’t realised this yet, but he will shortly, which might present Manpreet with some issues if she makes the potentially dumb decision to confide in Ella.

To lift Manpreet’s spirits, Ella gathers a group of ladies, including Claudette (Flo Wilson), Mandy, and Gail (Rachael Gill-Davis), for a few drinks. While everyone is having a great time, Ella takes Manpreet away for a conversation after seeing that she is showing off to Billy.

Ella advises Manpreet not to pursue things further when she confesses to having a little crush on the attractive physical therapy teacher.

Unfortunately, Manpreet ignores this warning because she is either too inebriated or too enamoured with Billy, and she subsequently grabs Billy and kisses him.

The next day, she confides in Ella once again about what transpired. Ella advises that it’s better if Charles (Kevin Mathurin) remains unaware of the situation, but Manpreet has to provide Billy an explanation.

Unfortunately for Manpreet, Charles has heard what was said. Was it Ella’s intention or was it an accident?

The thing about Ella is that we just don’t know, but we might soon start to learn more about her in previously filmed scenes that feature Ella and Liam at June Phillips’ funeral. After Liam and Ella get into a heated argument with one of the other mourners, secrets are sure to start to surface.
