The first kid Rhian Sugden and her husband Oliver Mellor have together has been publicly disclosed. The couple previously shared their story of struggling to conceive even with IVF assistance, so this is fantastic news.

On Saturday, April 27, the 37-year-old model announced on social media that she had given birth to a son with 43-year-old Oliver, a former Coronation Street actor. She uploaded a photo of her husband cradling their newborn kid on Instagram.

Rhian said that her life was now “complete” when the family’s dog and cat were also there. In an Instagram message to her 471,000 fans, the social media influencer wrote: “All my lads! My life is over! Mellor, a baby, was born on April 25, 24 at 8 lbs.

The Celebrity Big Brother competitor said that they hadn’t given their kid a name yet. Following the first disclosure, admirers of the pair sent their well wishes in the post’s comments section.

This is the greatest thing ever, according to one Instagram user! Your wildest fantasies have come true! From a total stranger I met online, I’m so happy for you. “Awww, so so happy for you & Oliver Rhian after what you’ve been through to get to this wonderful end,” was written by another person.

A third person who followed remarked, “Aww, congrats. With the addition of your tiny son, your family has complete me.

Another person said, “Excellent news, congratulations to you both.”

The excellent news for Rhian and Oliver comes after they spent £150,000 on IVF therapy over a year.

The video producer added earlier this year, “We spent just under £150,000 on IVF,” in reference to their reproductive quest. We seem to have been trying for a child forever.

“This was supposed to be the last round. After spending so much, we decided to consider other possibilities, such as surrogacy.

She told The Sun that while she was “so happy” to become pregnant, the expense persisted.

She said, “But then we’d get another bill to take medication for the next three months.” “IVF took all of my savings, but we made it work.”

at September 2013, Rhian met the former ITV star at a Manchester pub.

The pair dated for five years prior to getting married in 2018. In November 2023, they made their pregnancy public.
