Coronation Street ‘confirms’ who helps save Roy – and it’s not Carla or Nina

This week on Coronation Street, Roy Cropper (David Neilson) meets with disaster; fortunately, Mary Taylor (Patti Clare) is there to assist.

cherished persona Roy is incarcerated at the moment for the murder of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton). Even though Roy didn’t commit the murder, his past and the fact that he gave Lauren a lot of support before she disappeared make him one of the primary suspects.

Roy phones the cafe in the hopes of speaking with Nina (Mollie Gallagher) in upcoming episodes of the ITV soap opera.

Shona (Julia Goulding) hands the phone to Carla (Alison King), but she quickly cancels the connection after realizing it’s a sketchy line.

Roy has another flashback of Lauren approaching the cafe as he is back in his cell. Roy becomes disoriented as a prison guard knocks on the door, pointing out something strange about her attire.

Later, when Nina comes to see Roy, she becomes anxious as the minutes pass and he hasn’t shown up.

A jail guard enters Roy’s cell after Nina voices her concerns and discovers him slumped and on the ground.

Mary visits a lonely Roy in the hospital during the week. Mary tells Roy not to give up since he will surely remember the details of an important conversation between Max (Paddy Bever) and Lauren at some point. Roy explains that he keeps attempting to recall the details of the conversation.
