The couple have a close connection to Emmerdale
Beth Cordingly of Emmerdale has talked candidly about her relationship with a former soap opera favourite.
Fans of Emmerdale are aware that Beth, 47, was first featured in the soap opera’s continuing plot at the beginning of 2024. Ruby has been perceived as having a turbulent connection with Caleb.
Outside of the soap opera, Beth is linked to Ian Kelsey, a former cast member of Emmerdale. Ian portrayed Dave Glover in the ITV series back in the 1990s.
Beth believes that since joining the soap opera, Ian’s link to Emmerdale has been incredibly beneficial, as reported by Metro.
She remarked, “There’s that thing about being an actor where you’re always taken away from home.” Yet he fully understands. He is well-versed with the crew and cast, so it’s a pleasure to be able to tell him about my recent activities and know he will relate.
“That’s crucial while you’re away, and he constantly wants to know how each day’s filming is going. We both give each other a lot of support for our professions, which is crucial in this cutthroat field.
After more than 20 years of dating, Beth and Ian said in The Mirror, “I am very happy and in love with Ian.”
