Stephanie Davis, a former Coronation Street actress, revealed how she first connected with her present partner at their shared “low point.”

After splitting from her former partner Oliver Tasker in 2022, the actress, 31, who portrayed Courtney Vance on the serial opera, went public with her new lover, 28-year-old Joseph Mckalroy.

“I think we met at quite a low point, and I kind of put the light back in his life, and he put the light back in mine,” she said, looking back on how they first connected to OK!

“Together we both blossomed and created a beautiful life together,” the woman said. Usually, couples have difficult moments later in life, but to be honest, when we first met, we didn’t have much to give one other.

Joseph had already showered his girlfriend with compliments after her casting in Coronation Street.

He posted on social media, saying, “Sooo proud of you @stephaniedavis88 on your new journey.” “You deserve the world and more love than you can ever know because you’ve worked so damn hard.”

With her ex-partner Jeremy McConnell, 32, whom she started seeing during their time on Celebrity Big Brother, Stephanie has a son, Caben, six.

At the age of seven, Stephanie made her stage debut as Gretl von Trapp in the Liverpool Empire Theatre’s rendition of The Sound of Music.

Later on, she was cast in guest appearances in television films The Outsiders, Parents of the Band, Doctors, and Holby City.

She competed in the 2010 television competition Over the Rainbow, where she finished eighth. The competition was created by the renowned composer Andrew Lloyd Webber to find an actress to portray Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz.

After that, she became well-known for playing Hollyoaks’ Sinead O’Connor, a character who was central to many significant plotlines.

After it was determined that Stephanie was “unfit to work,” she was fired from the soap opera in 2015. She returned in 2018, but left again in 2020.
