Spoilers released by ITV for Emmerdale show that Belle Dingle’s abuse nightmare becomes even more insidious.
In the upcoming episodes of Emmerdale, Eden Taylor-Draper’s character Belle Dingle will experience even more isolation as her husband Tom King (James Chase) persists in his abusive campaign against her. ITV’s official spoilers reveal that when he also gains control of her cash, his nefarious behavior gets worse.
He establishes a joint account for the pair, making sure she remains isolated from her support system. She is now even more susceptible to his influence since he has control over her finances.
Belle still has some outside influences in her life, despite his best attempts, and he is upset when he sees her talking to Mandy Dingle (Lisa Reilly) and Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) on the puppy cam. He hears the trio making fun of him behind his back as he listens in on what they think is a private chat.
His rage building, he listens to every word with a ferocious fervor. Belle is both relieved and on edge when he unexpectedly shows up home, especially when he is kind to Mandy and Lydia.
She worries that he could not be being honest, though, considering his past behavior. Her concerns are well-founded because after they part ways, Tom becomes frightening, and the newlywed finds herself in a dreadful predicament when he betrays her once more.
This most recent assault comes after this Tuesday’s (May 7) dramatic dinner party event.
Two distinct perspectives of the same evening were presented to viewers in the soap opera’s special installment.
During a dinner with Belle and Tom, Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) brought to light the underlying tensions in their respective relationships.
Even though Rhona and Marlon’s problems were made public, Tom and Belle were able to keep up the appearance of a happy marriage.
Nevertheless, the program deftly turned it around by presenting the day from Belle and Tom’s perspectives.
This provided an insight into the horrifying truth of their private lives on a daily basis.
For the past few months, Emmerdale has been developing a frightening plot in close collaboration with Refuge, a charity that supports victims of domestic abuse.
