Emmerdale viewers have seen Kim on their screens for decades
As Kim Tate “disappeared” from the ITV soap opera, many Emmerdale viewers expressed their sadness.
Known for her cunning schemes and retaliation, Kim has become one of the most recognisable matriarchs on soap operas throughout the years. However, she was forced to sigh and get by as Rose, the ex-wife of her husband Will Taylor, swanned around Home Farm in the most recent episode.
Dawn Fletcher’s mother, Rose, recently made a comeback to the scene while she was in the hospital, accompanying Will and Dawn and their sick baby Ethan. Dawn stated she didn’t want anything to do with Rose as Rose had abandoned her when she was a child when she first understood who she was.
However, she has lately said that she wants to get to know her mother, which means that Rose’s presence must be tolerated by the rest of the family. In the most recent episode, Lydia Dingle made fun of Rose, and Kim, instead of standing behind her buddy Lydia, begged them to stop fighting.
The scenes have prompted fast reactions from the fans. Owen commented on “Queen Kim is losing her touch, sick baby or not” on X, while Angie questioned if she should let her husband’s former partner overnight at Home Farm. “Old Kim would never.” Marc stated: “The Kim Tate we once knew and loved has disappeared” .
Lisa said, “Let’s have the old Kim Tate back….she’s too nice now….makes me cringe.”
