ITV Emmerdale Ella Forster’s secret ‘revealed’ as newcomer exposed by concerned villagers

Actress Paula Lane’s character Ella Forster joined Emmerdale early this year; next week, the character’s secret will be “revealed.”

The new character made a spectacular entrance into the hamlet when she threw a drink over her supervisor Jules and then resigned from her position to defend Mandy Dingle at a veterinary gathering. But Ella quickly became viewers suspicious since it’s obvious that she’s concealing something, as shown by the way she sometimes raises eyebrows.

Ella found work as a receptionist at the doctor’s office shortly after leaving her previous position, and she quickly developed romantic feelings for Dr. Liam Cavanagh. But during one of their previous outings, Ella abruptly stopped kissing Liam and hurried away, apologising profusely. Ella, meanwhile, acted suspiciously when Liam discovered that he was involved in a romantic triangle with both Ella and Chas Dingle.

Ella seems to be keeping something significant a secret, and next week it seems like her secret will finally be made public. Spoilers ahead: Ella freaks out when Liam offers to stay at her house, but she’s able to turn him down. Later, viewers see Ella passing out in her vehicle on the outskirts of the hamlet, when it becomes evident that she has been lying to everybody around her and does not have a permanent home to live.

Manpreet Sharma discovers Ella dozing off in her vehicle the next morning when she goes out for her morning exercise. Ella begs Manpreet not to tell Liam, looking ashamed. But in typical soap opera fashion, Manpreet soon awkwardly tells Liam that she saw Ella sleeping in her vehicle, which infuriates Liam to no end.

Following some deliberation, Ella happily accepts Liam’s suggestion that she take up residence in his spare room for a while. Later, while assisting Ella with moving belongings into Liam’s home, Mandy asks Ella about her family. When Ella notices an old picture in Mandy’s hands, she snaps it, and Mandy becomes confused as a result of the encounter, things take a tragic turn.

Later in the week, while living together, Ella and Liam manage their relationship. But when Ella quickly runs off and won’t allow a photographer to snap her picture, Liam is left perplexed. Before things become serious between them, Mandy tells Liam to make sure Ella has no secrets before they go out in the beer garden. Following Mandy’s advise, Liam questions Ella in an attempt to get her to open up, but Ella is startled and quickly flees the home. Later, viewers see Ella visiting a care facility; what is she concealing and who else is there?
