Alfie lashes out with baseball bat in EastEnders ‘burglary’ – then recognises who he has hit

Next week on EastEnders, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) will have a major shock when he finds burglars at his apartment—and an even bigger shock when he identifies them!

After fighting prostate cancer for a year, Alfie is celebrating the end of his hormone treatment this week by going out to dinner with his ex-wife Kat (Jessie Wallace) and their kids Tommy (Sonny Kendall), Bert, and Ernie.

Tommy notices some flirtation between the two throughout the dinner and advises bringing the twins home so they may enjoy their evening to the fullest.

Later, Alfie phones Kat to inform her that he believes No. 5D is being broken into, and he swiftly takes a toy baseball bat from the boys and begins to assault.

…only to find out it’s Mo (Laila Morse) and Freddie (Bobby Brazier)!

The Slater family is happy to welcome them back, but Freddie quickly learns that he will have to relocate into the already packed No. 31 since Kat and her children are living with Alfie.

Jean (Gillian Wright), Stacey (Lacey Turner), Harvey (Ross Boatman), Lily (Lillia Turner), Arthur, Hope, and Charli all reside in the busy household.

But when rumours circulate that Kat and Alfie could get back together, Freddie is compelled to take a risk and give them a chance.

Big Mo, meantime, is completely devoted to Stevie Mitchell (Alan Ford), another local.

Additionally, Freddie has more problems in his relationship when he witnesses Bobby (Clay Milner Russell) and Anna (Molly Rainford) sharing a kiss.

Last year, both lads had feelings for Anna. When she learned that Bobby and she had a common half-brother named Peter (Thomas Law), she moved on to Freddie.

But now that he’s not around, the two have made up.
