The much-loved Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) was pushed from the Coronation Street builder’s yard balcony ten years ago next month, but this week she was observed skulking around the set.

Is it really true that ten years have passed?

Those who have followed the ITV soap opera for a long time will undoubtedly recall that Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) was the one who killed her.

After six years as barmaid Tina, Michelle was joined by her father Joe (Reece Dinsdale), who quickly became Gail Platt’s (Helen Worth) fourth husband.

She was seeing Jack P Shepherd’s character, David Platt, when she was living on the streets, and she held Gail responsible for her father’s death, which she believed was a lie, during a boating accident.

Along with becoming a surrogate for Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston) and Gary Windass (Mikey North), she also had romances with a number of Weatherfield men, including married Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne).

It was one of the show’s most memorable storylines (Picture: ITV)
Tina and Peter had been having an affair (Image: ITV).

Prior to the stunning murder episode, several suspicions were made public, including Rob, Peter, Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), Carla Connor (Alison King), and Rob’s sister.

Tina had intended to flee with Peter on the night of Rob and Tracy’s engagement party, but her plans were derailed when Carla, his wife, revealed she was expecting a child in the Rovers.

Rob stopped by Tina’s flat in the builder’s yard to see how she was doing. She informed him that she intended to report his dubious activities at Barlow’s Buys to the authorities and disclose her relationship with Peter.

They ended up on the builder’s yard balcony after the intense altercation, and she was shoved down onto the cobblestones below minutes later.

Rob then continued to mercilessly hammer her over the head with a metal pole, fearing she might live to confess his heinous conduct, in order to silence her for good.

Actor Calum Lill, who plays Joel Deering, expressed his surprise at seeing her in the Weatherfield General Hospital hallways in a recent Instagram post.

In a humorous video that has been shared, Calum is shown waiting to record a scene when he looks to his right and sees Michelle’s picture all over the cover of a magazine.

“Is Tina still alive?” he captioned it, and proceeded to say, “It’s unbelievable what I witnessed at Weatherfield General the other day.” I occasionally think I’m in the Truman Show. or a show of some type in any case.

A bit of an anomaly, the magazine’s presence on the 7.7-acre production base of the event at Trafford Park, Greater Manchester, is that real front covers are typically swapped out for the fictitious Hiya! or Chit Chat.

This implies that there’s a slim probability that a character may wander into The Kabin for a quarter of sherbet lemons and happen to recognise oneself on the shelves.

It should be remembered that weirder things have happened in soap opera realm, even though Tina might not be going back to the cobblestone street anytime soon.

We might see the storyline rehashed in the future given that Rob’s son Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll) still resides on the Street.
