Emmerdale star in hospital dash after falling ‘really badly’

Gemma Oaten, a former Emmerdale actress, has disclosed that she was hospitalized after a fall.

The actress, who is most known for playing Rachel Breckle on the ITV soap opera, posted a detailed account of the event on Instagram, informing fans that she had suffered an elbow injury.

“Then I fell,” she added in an update. figuratively. Really awful on Wednesday night while I was walking home with Ruby. After that, I went to A&E, where I was told I had some lovely tiny bone chips off my elbow. I now had a fancy sling and a ton of medications.

“What makes me share this?” To put it simply, that’s life! It will have its ups and downs, but how you respond to them will determine how things turn out.

“I’m so blessed for this week,” she concluded. I have so much gratitude for the times, the friendships, and the encouragement to pursue my goals. Above everything, however, I’m proud of my response and of who I am.

In addition to her acting career, Gemma is well-known for promoting awareness of eating disorders and supporting people who are affected by them.

The actress had a wonderful moment in June when she got back in touch with Joyce, the woman who had taken care of her when she was diagnosed with anorexia at the age of 11.

“Joyce looked after me when she was a carer at the unit I was admitted with #anorexia at 11 years old & given 24 hours to live,” Gemma stated in the social media post. a place where I was treated like nothing by numerous people who were supposed to be assisting me. handled barbaratically, causing more damage than good

“I tell the story of Joyce, whose kindness I believe kept me alive [sic],” the woman said.

The actress acknowledged that she was a “survivor” and concluded the statement by thanking her former caregiver for her assistance.
