Emmerdale twist leaves fans outraged as Ruby Fox-Miligan learns Ethan’s cause of death

Troublemaker from Emmerdale Ruby has been frantically trying to tell Charles Anderson and Manpreet Sharma the truth about her involvement in their son Ethan’s murder.

Beth Cordingly’s character Ruby Fox-Miligan from Emmerdale was about to confess to Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin).

and Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker), but she was stopped cold when she learned the horrific truth about Ethan Anderson’s (Emile John) actual cause of death.

The idea that she killed Ethan by striking him with her vehicle last month has plagued Beth, who plays the remorseful character on ITV.

The cunning figure has been stalking a distraught Charles and Manpreet in an attempt to find comfort for her tormented conscience, but on Wednesday, she decided to turn herself in to the police after a heated argument with her son Nicky.

Viewers observed Ruby caring to Charles and Manpreet on Thursday, June 13, as they prepared for Ethan’s burial while dealing with their own marital discord.

But just as Ruby was attempting to console Charles, the coroner called to inform him that Ethan had passed away at the age of 28 from a brain aneurysm, the same terrible destiny that had befallen his grandpa.

When Ruby learned that the aneurysm may occur “at any time” and could be inherited, she fled quickly to Mill Cottage to be with her family and tell her husband Caleb Miligan (Will Ash) the good news.

Even though Ruby was cleared, the plot twist infuriated a number of Emmerdale viewers, who felt left out of closure and criticised the narrative for what they saw as unfairness.

A frustrated viewer vented their disappointment on Twitter, writing, “They’re trying to say the hit and run injuries didn’t play a part in causing Ethan’s death.”

Another person commented, saying, “Surely Ruby would confess even if Ethan’s death had nothing to do with her? A third said, “The coroner will say Ethan had something wrong with him so the witch gets away with it, or so she says, because she can’t live with herself.” So foreseeable.”

“Aneurysm was the cause of Ethan’s death… notice how quickly Ruby didn’t care any more,” lamented a fourth admirer. “I’m actually disgusted that Ruby is off the hook for Ethan’s death,” another fan added to the protest. Caleb may say goodbye to possessing that ammunition over his girlfriend.”

In a cruel turn of events, Nicky, Ruby’s son (Lewis Cope), was not at all happy with his mother’s near escape from punishment.

When he got home, he got into a furious argument with his father Caleb, with whom he had always had a turbulent relationship.

As Nicky—a friend of the late Ethan—could not bring himself to celebrate his mother’s acquittal, the tension grew until he struck Caleb. Nicky’s departure from the famous town is hinted at by this incident.
