In forthcoming scenes on Emmerdale, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) is going to ruin Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) in the midst of Chloe’s optimism for a beautiful Christmas.

Mack had already made the decision to deliver the news to Chloe about his intention to dump her for his wife Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), but Chloe passed away before he could do so.

Charity shows Chloe that she is mistaken when she fears that he has the courage to attempt to leave her again, leaving her devastated.

Actress Jessie Elland said, “Chloe decorates the house early to surprise Mackenzie, even buying him a Santa outfit to wear for Reuben, in all her excitement for their first family Christmas.”

Mackenzie blurts out that they are done dating at this very moment. Chloe is inconsolable and realizes right once that Charity is involved.

She dismisses Mack coldly, not wanting to give him the pleasure of seeing her unhappy, only to weep later and confide in her sister Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson).

Chloe attempts to conceal her grief by seeming aloof and indifferent, but this is really an attempt to save face. When she is alone herself, Amy can see how completely broken she is—one of her worst nightmares has finally come true.

But as Jessie mentioned, Chloe can’t contain her emotions in front of Mack for very long, particularly when she sees him kissing Charity in the middle of the street.

“I believe she feels ashamed of being misunderstood; to believe that Mackenzie and Charity were together, or at least about to be, while she was purposefully unaware and trying to play happy families.”

She then feels abandoned and second-guessed in another unsuccessful relationship, which frustrates and devastates her.

Just one day has passed since Mackenzie ended their relationship; she still hasn’t had time to come to terms with it when she turns around and sees them sharing a kiss on Main Street as if their breakup had happened and she had never been.

She is still experiencing extreme emotional upheaval and is simply crimson. Witnessing Chloe lose control as her cool, collected exterior totally crumbled was a lot of pleasure to shoot.

Driven by resentment, Chloe quickly devises a plan of retaliation: fleeing to France.

“I believe that she mentions France because she is merely attempting to flee, and she has a friend from high school there who can assist her in settling in,” Jessie said.

She wants to be someplace that Mackenzie can’t easily get to. In part, she wants to exact vengeance on him by keeping him from seeing Reuben, but she also wants to protect her own emotions and lessen the likelihood that she would be harmed in the future.

She expects a certain response from sister Amy when she tells her idea, but she doesn’t receive it.

“Amy is adamantly opposed to it; they have recently reunited as sisters, and she doesn’t want to lose her ever again.”

Luckily for Amy, Chloe may not make it all the way to France when Mack is informed by Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) that she has seen Reuben’s passport and packed luggage.

Will he arrive in time to stop Chloe from leaving, or will Mack lose his son forever as he and Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) battle against the clock?
