Corrie fans worried for Lauren star Cait Fitton as she shares holiday snaps from Benidorm

After making a dramatic return to Weatherfield, Cait Fitton, who plays Lauren Bolton in Coronation Street, has been enjoying the sun overseas.

As Cait Fitton of Coronation Street took off for a well-earned vacation, her co-stars and fans greeted her with well wishes. On the other hand, some supporters are ‘worried’.

Due to her character Lauren Bolton’s dramatic return to the famous cobblestones, the gifted actress has recently been in the limelight on the ITV serial opera.

The 22-year-old actress sported a tye-dye dress, starfish earrings, and a flowery hairpiece against her flowing locks as she showed off her vacation glow on Instagram while standing on a beach under the setting sun.

Even with the adorable photos, several followers were worried about her security. “Aha, I recognized this as Benidorm, although others had given the hotel a different name. Could it be that strangers are aware of your whereabouts? Similar to Corrie, huh? One person said, “Take care, love the beach photo with your back to the camera, so beautiful.”

Back in February, Lauren abruptly disappeared from Weatherfield. She looked to have vanished without a trace, but when blood was found in her apartment, her disappearance turned into a murder inquiry, leading DS Lisa Swain to falsely accuse innocent Roy Cropper of her murder.

But in a surprising turn of events in May, Joel Deering was identified as the reason behind her absence. The solicitor turned out to be Lauren’s hidden “boyfriend,” who had brutally attacked her with a chair leg, as shown in a startling flashback scene.

Lauren’s survival following the brutal attack was only proven last month, when she unexpectedly showed up at Roy’s hospital bedside after he suffered a heart attack. Noticing that she had returned unexpectedly, Joel and her got into a heated argument that revealed the truth about their history.

Lauren ran away when the news broke that she was expecting, but Bethany Platt and Dee-Dee Bailey, Joel’s fiancée, tracked her out. The girls succeeded in persuading her to visit a hospital, promising her protection, that is, until Joel appeared with orders to deal with the fuzziness.

As they prepare for Lauren’s trip to Ireland, she is now hiding out at Joel’s pad close to Weatherfield. Cait, meantime, isn’t letting her vacation spirit be dampened by shooting exhaustion. On the other hand, Lauren expressed her dread of losing her baby on Friday night’s program, August 2.
