We can’t say we’re shocked when Courtney Vance (Stephanie Davis) crushed Aadi Alahan’s (Adam Hussain) heart in recent scenes on Coronation Street.
When Aadi started working for businessman Darren Vance (Ryan Early) earlier this year, Courtney and Aadi got into a passionate relationship.
He drove Courtney about as part of his job, and the more time they spent together, the more difficult it was for them to resist touching.
Courtney was forced to move in with Aadi when Darren swiftly demanded a divorce from her once their romance was eventually discovered.
Sadly, Aadi’s pay wasn’t nearly enough to maintain Courtney in the way of life to which she had become used, and because she wouldn’t work, it was only a matter of time before she began to yearn for her previous, much more opulent existence.
Aadi informed Courtney to make sure she was home for afternoon tea with Nina and Asha (Mollie Gallagher and Tanisha Gorey) in a recent scene, after he joyfully disclosed that he had found a new job.
But since Asha was preoccupied with her paramedic training, Aadi started to worry when just Nina arrived.
Things quickly took a turn for the worst when a tap on the door cut short his worries.
Darren forced his way inside as soon as the door opened, stating that he had to get Courtney’s belongings since she had made the decision to return to him.
At first, Aadi couldn’t believe what he was hearing, but as Courtney’s phone messaged again, the reality began to set in.
Aadi was clearly devastated when Nina departed since he was staring at an image of him and Courtney together.
He scooped up the frame and tossed it across the room out of emotion.
Will Courtney and Aadi end their relationship here, or will he manage to get her back?
