The actor is presently starring as Nate Robinson, a beguiling farmhand who joined Emmerdale and had an affair with Moira Dingle behind Cain’s back.

Nate will be a part of a major plot that will culminate with his permanent departure from Yorkshire, following five years of living in the Dales.

And ardent soap opera watchers believe they know what’s going to happen to him.

His approaching last moments are described as “dramatic and explosive” by an insider, who also cautions that “it won’t be one to miss”.

Many have speculated that he will exact revenge on Tom King for Belle’s appalling treatment.

Ever since they were married, Tom has abused his wife both physically and mentally.

After he imprisoned her in a cabin in Wales while pretending to be on a romantic holiday, she was able to eventually escape.

He does, however, still own a set of keys to her home, which allows him to have a covert hold on her even after their breakup.

Fans of Emmerdale have noted that Nate and Belle used to be close, and many have speculated that, given his impending departure from the show, he will kill Tom.

They believe the character’s absence will be explained by the fact that he will be imprisoned for the crime.

One social media user made the following suggestion: “”It was just announced that Tom is also leaving Emmerdale, and it was speculated a while back that Nate was going as well.

“Now if the dots were to be joined up I am just wondering is it Nate that kills Tom and that is how Nate leaves the show?”

Another said in response: “Probably. As you recall, he was previously rather close to Belle, particularly when Cain disowned him.

“The writers might suddenly start writing stories for him and Belle again and he might be the one who actually saw what others only saw halfway.”

A third person added: “Nate and Belle used to be close and chat about problems so I know he cares for her, so maybe?”
