Corrie Mason’s death ‘sealed’ as exit confirmed – and a surprise resident is behind it

Mason Radcliffe from Coronation Street has been frightening the cobbles ever since he moved to Weatherfield, but is his time running out? Supporters believe a local will kill him.

Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan), the resident troublemaker on Coronation Street, may be headed for disaster. Since his debut last year, the character has generated a lot of controversy, especially when it comes to his bullying of Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall), the young son of Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon).

Mason’s knife-wielding threat to Liam intensified the situation and set up a terrible sequence of events where Liam considered suicide. Mason was, however, sent to a Young Offenders institution in April as a result of his behaviour.

Dylan bravely testified against Mason at the court trial. Mason, however, returned to the streets last month following his release from the Young Offenders centre.

Liam and Dylan are uneasy because of the ruckus his return has made. Mason has received sympathy from Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows), who has also helped him land a job at his restaurant.

Many locals are incensed after learning that Mason works at Speed Daal. According to the Liverpool Echo, Stu is sure that Mason is making an effort to change.

Fans, however, are conjecturing that Mason may soon meet a terrible end in an unexpected narrative twist. Viewers also think that Stu will be the one to condemn Mason to an early burial.

Online, fans have been expressing their views, with one fan pointing out that Stu is still not aware that Mason was behind his granddaughter Eliza’s hit-and-run earlier this year.

According to fan speculation, Stu could end up “killing Mason in a rage” if he finds out. Since it was mentioned that Mason’s passing may occur at the same time as Stu’s actor Bill Fellows departs, this hypothesis has gained popularity.

There were speculations going around this week that Bill had chosen to depart the soap opera after three years of work. It has been reported that he has completed filming his last sequences for the well-liked ITV series.

Fans now believe that, once Stu learns the truth about his granddaughter’s hit-and-run episode, his exit will include his killing Mason. One fan on a Corrie Facebook group made the following prediction: “Stu is expected to move off the cobbles later this year. Talk about granting Mason the bedroom of his granddaughter Eliza.”

“But he is unaware that Eliza was struck by’mad Mason’ during the hit-and-run. Is Stu headed for murder and a second stint in prison? This one is not incorrect,” they thought.

Another user speculated on X, saying, “Imagine if Stu finds out that Mason knocked over Eliza and ends up in prison for actually killing somebody.” “Hope he finds out it was Mason who hit Eliza with the car, kills him in a rage, then flees to Germany,” said a third commenter.
