Natalie J. Robb, who plays Moira Dingle in Emmerdale, has opened up about her own health concern that occurred during a terrible plotline.

Over Matty’s (Ash Palmsciano) incarceration, Moira had a growing sense of tension and exhaustion. It seems sense that she was doing every effort to show Matty never planned to knife Samson Dingle (Sam Hall).

Despite Matty’s eventual return home, Moira’s conduct didn’t improve. Rather, the situation has become worse.

She is reaching for booze more frequently than usual and has arguments with Cain (Jeff Hordley) almost every day. The most alarming development to far occurred yesterday when Moira experienced a seizure.

Despite the fact that the whisky bottle was still unopened, she maintained that her morning headache wasn’t the result of a hangover. Cain continued to accuse her of “smashed bottles and hiding.” Because he was so worried, he brought his reluctant son to work with him instead of leaving Kyle (Huey Quinn) alone with her.

When Cain recalled Moira’s violent outbursts in the past, she appeared perplexed, as if she truly couldn’t recall what had happened. Moira also appeared genuinely shocked by Cain’s claims.

Jurrell Carter’s character Cain discounted Nate’s remarks on menopause and persisted in his belief that booze was the cause. Nate begged Cain to try harder to reach out to Moira and preserve their marriage, seeing as how frustrated he was with the whole thing.

It is understandable that Cain, who prefers a simple and regular existence, would be perplexed by his wife’s actions. She may be violently abusive and hurl glassware at his head in one moment, then act seductive and affectionate in the next.

When it became clear later in the show that Moira was sick, we began to receive an explanation.

She was caring for a sick animal by herself in the barn. She paused in mid-air as she was turning to go, dropped the pail she was holding, collapsed to the ground like a heavy weight, and went into convulsions.

We don’t know what’s wrong with this adored character at the moment. The actress who plays Moira, Natalie J. Robb, is familiar with what it’s like to be faced with a health crisis that might change one’s life.

She told the Mirror, “I found a lump in my right breast, so it was pretty scary.”

When I visited the doctor, they informed me that the one on my left breast was the most concerning. Since I was feeling nothing, I enquired as to what they meant. It was situated higher. My panic attack hit, and I had to have a mammogram. Fortunately, it turned out to be a benign cyst. However, something like that does alter your viewpoint, so I now make an effort to maintain as much fitness and health as I can.

Natalie said, thinking back on her response to Moira’s plot: “I knew I wanted to play my part in helping to raise awareness.” As demonstrated so masterfully this year with Chas’s cancer diagnosis, a soap opera can have a significant impact on raising awareness of a wide range of ailments.

When it comes to your character and their fate, as an actor in a soap opera, you are essentially at the mercy of fate. However, I believe it’s critical that we discuss serious conditions in order to let individuals realise they’re not alone. If I began to get seizures and didn’t know why, I can assure you that I would be terrified.

She went on, “It’s a big responsibility and a challenging role.”

I’ve been working closely with a specialist and have studied a lot about the many types of seizures that might occur. He has been providing me with excellent guidance on how to display even the smallest visual cues when experiencing a seizure.

I think it’s crucial to demonstrate the extent of its impact on an individual. Your body expels everything, and the ensuing confusion is rather difficult.

“My thoughts and prayers are with those who have experienced or are experiencing this.”
