He has been mistreating his girlfriend Belle for several months, and he even threw her cherished puppy, Piper, away to a new home.

Emmerdale has hinted at a barn fire in a forthcoming dramatic episode that may be problematic for Tom. Fans on social media, however, are hoping he survives to confront the cops.

Emmerdale hinted to an impending barn fire in a teaser that debuted on Wednesday, August 28, during a commercial break. Fans were shocked to learn later who could have been involved.

When a barn catches fire, many lives will be “hanging in the balance.” Favourite characters will be confined within.

This massive calamity is going to be the culmination of several narratives coming together. Then, in September, these sequences will be filmed for television.

The audience is aware that a prominent plot point is Tom mistreating his spouse Belle.

She went to a mental health centre for assistance with her mental health; but, Tom was concerned that he wouldn’t be able to watch over her, so he gave their dog Piper a medicine to entice her to return home.

Then he even drove their dog over with his vehicle. Belle needed to say goodbye to Tom since she was going to die.

He was subsequently seen, nevertheless, handing the dog over to a couple who thought they were saving Piper, demonstrating that Piper was still alive. Tom informed the pair that the dog had experienced abuse at the hands of its prior owner.

Fans want Tom to live

A number of social media users demanded that Tom be spared so that Belle may receive justice. They would rather see him go to prison and make amends for his misdeeds than for him to perish in the fire.

“What message would that send out to people in the same situation? They can’t have Tom die,” a fan remarked. He won’t be the one.

“No, no, Tom CANNOT die. We have been watching Belle go through hell for absolute months, and if he does then she will never get justice for herself,” said the hope of another individual.

“Tom better not die,” a third individual said. What a waste of the finest plot they have done in a long time if he doesn’t serve a lengthy prison sentence.

Finally, a fourth said, “Don’t let Tom die. For him, that will be the simple route out.
