Coronation Street viewers have their sights set on Weatherfield’s new hot couple, Dee-Dee and Adam, claiming they would be the ideal match.

Following Adam’s request in Wednesday’s (August 28) episode for Dee-Dee to meet with a new client, the legal colleagues have been working on a new case. The genius duo would undoubtedly get along well together.

Joel and Dee-Dee just broke up when she discovered the awful details of his past with Lauren’s grooming.

Fans now believe she’s moving on to better and larger things with Adam, though. And we have to admit, we totally concur!

Coronation Street: What happened with Dee-Dee and Joel

Joel was the driving force behind a complex plot in which he trained Lauren Bolton to become pregnant. After Lauren returned to the cobblestones, he attempted to poison her in order to abort the baby while keeping the truth from Dee-Dee.

Lauren gave birth early, but she and her child made it through the trauma.

Dee-Dee exposed Joel’s deceptions in a recent episode and soon started to have doubts about his behaviour. After piecing the puzzle together, she understood what he had done.

While visiting Lauren in the hospital, Dee-Dee saw that Joel was scheduled to travel to Belfast, but Lauren was moving to Northern Ireland. She later discovered that Lauren’s jewellery was a Joel present.

Lauren came clean when Dee-Dee confronted her. DS Swain questioned Joel thereafter. Since then, he has been released, but Dee-Dee is making efforts to ensure that he remains imprisoned.

Fans suspect a romance

After watching Dee-Dee finally figure Joel out, soap opera viewers were thrilled and are now trying to find Dee-Dee a new partner. She just so happens to be looking directly at that individual.

Fans are happy that Adam and Dee-Dee seem to be growing closer. “Wanna see more of Dee-Dee and Adam in this Lauren and Joel stuff and the aftermath when he’s gone,” said a user on X.

“Dee-Dee and Adam will be the cliff-hanger snog after a few glasses of wine,” a second person said.

“Get Adam and Dee-Dee together,” wrote a third, and “Go Dee-Dee!” was all that a fourth wrote.
