Ex-Emmerdale star Mimi Slinger looks worlds away from Leanna Cavanagh three years after brutal exit

Emmerdale’s Mimi Slinger, who portrayed Leanna Cavanagh, has posted a gorgeous picture with her devoted followers showing her enjoying a night out.

Following her departure from the ITV serial opera Emmerdale, Mimi Slinger glams up with an amazing makeover, leaving her nearly unrecognisable.

The long-running soap opera star is well-known for her role as Leanna Cavanagh. The 21-year-old moved to the Yorkshire Dales in 2018, but in a devastating plot twist, the character was slain in 2021 by Meena Jutla, a show villain portrayed by Paige Sandhu.

Thankfully, Mimi’s life off screen is less dramatic than her on-screen persona. As she embarks on an exciting career in show business, she keeps her 71,300 Instagram followers updated with regular updates.

The actress was very different from her previous soap opera persona in her most recent Instagram Story, which featured a gorgeous picture.

Mimi played Leanna until 2021

After her character, Leanna, was killed by serial murderer Meena at the beginning of a lengthy soap opera plotline that saw other village inhabitants being knocked off, the actress was last seen in Emmerdale three years ago.

When her last scenes aired, Mimi stated that she intended to explore her musical abilities and seek a modelling career after leaving.

She pulled her hair back into a ponytail in an elegant yet uncomplicated look. The model’s perfect makeup, which included pink lipstick and heavy eyeliner, finished off her stunning appearance.

Since then, Mimi has been quite busy working on many projects, such as the miniseries Masters of the Air and the short films Path to Ecstasy, but modelling and Instagram have taken centre stage in her career.

With her sights set on a career outside of Emmerdale, the actress joined the roster of Storm Management, a modelling agency, last year, with the likes of Cindy Crawford.

Nonetheless, Mimi stated to Inside Soap in 2022 that she intends to continue acting in TV roles even if she is “extremely eager” to try her hand at modelling.

Mimi has been dating TV broadcaster and singer HRVY since 2021.
