Legend of Emmerdale Lisa Riley has revealed her secret role to fans.
Lisa Riley, 47, is well-known to millions of Emmerdale viewers as Mandy Dingle. Maybe they are unaware of the important work she does behind the scenes when the cameras are not rolling.
Speaking with our Daily Star colleagues, Lisa disclosed that her co-stars refer to her as “nan.” She is a kind ear and a friendly shoulder, which is why.
“They all call me nan,” said Lisa, who is endorsing Sue Ryder’s A Sense of Grief campaign. Both the older and younger ones come to me. They are aware of their loyalty and their level of trust in me.
“I’ll take whatever they tell me to the grave.” I’ll also let them know that it’s acceptable for coworkers to lose loved ones. Someone even lost a pet not too long ago. It can be excruciating pain if it’s a pet.
People say things like, ‘It’s an animal, but they’re not. It’s really significant if that’s the only interaction you have at home.
