When Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) finds out the truth about what really transpired when Albie was abducted in EastEnders, he immediately begins to see Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) in a whole new light.
We know that Albie’s disappearance was caused by Keanu (Danny Walters), Karen, and her brother-in-law Malcolm, but Sharon (Letitia Dean) is presently unaware of the reality.
Not long after Karen took Albie and gave him back to Sharon, Keanu acknowledged that he was still in love with his former partner.
Karen was furious with Keanu once they reunited, stating that the truth of Albie’s disappearance wouldn’t be kept a secret indefinitely.
The likelihood that Sharon will discover Keanu’s falsehoods rises once again.
Mitch is at the bar planning Karen’s birthday celebration.
As the celebration begins, Karen offers to pay for a large tab of drinks, which makes Mitch dubious about her financial situation.
As Mitch persists in attempting to mend Karen and Keanu’s relationship, the two are taken aback when Malcolm shows up at the celebration and Albie develops feelings for him.
Upon discovering his role in the fictitious abduction, Malcolm is incensed during a lighthearted conversation with Sharon.
When Keanu returns to the apartment, he insists that Karen turn over the ransom money, but she flatly refuses.
Mitch then interrupts them, and once Keanu has left, Karen sobs and tells everything.
When Mitch finds out that Karen was involved in Albie’s kidnapping, he is appalled and demands that the money be given back, but will Karen comply?
Will Mitch maintain her privacy?
