After Gabby finds out about their tryst, Jacob and Victoria decide to tell their family about their romance in order to avoid becoming the subject of rumours. Meanwhile, Cathy goes on a risky joy ride.

In the spoilers for Emmerdale, Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) and Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) come to the realisation that they should be upfront about their relationship.

Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) worries that Jacob might have a crush on her after speaking with him.

The following day, as Gabby observes the bond between Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) and Billy Taylor (Jay Kontzle), she begins to worry that Jacob may have affections for her.

Gabby soon realises that Jacob wasn’t actually talking about her at all; instead, he was referring to Victoria.

As more information becomes available, Jacob and Victoria confess their relationship to Pollard (Chris Chittell) and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi). Gail Loman (Rachael Gill-Davis), who overhears, is equally astounded.

Additionally, Jacob and Victoria disclose that David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) left the community partly because he was aware of their romance.

Returning to the celebration, Jimmy King (Nick Miles) is sent to fetch the children in order to help Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) serve the canapes. When Jimmy returns and is unable to locate the children, Tony Audenshaw’s character Bob Hope becomes worried after learning that Wendy’s car is gone. April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) is grilled by Bob until she tells the truth.

As Bob and Wendy head to Hotten, Nicola is taken away from her chairperson responsibilities and becomes unimpressed. Cathy keeps driving carelessly in the meantime, even after a few close calls. Are they about to have a catastrophe?
