ITV Coronation Street fans slam Aadi Alahan as he betrays twin sister in bizarre twist

Coronation Street fans are outraged as Aadi Alahan betrays his twin sister Asha by kissing Nina in shock twist following an explosive argument between the pair on the ITV soap

After Aadi Alahan shockingly betrayed his twin sister Asha by leaning in to kiss her partner Nina, Coronation Street viewers were furious.

After Asha accused Nina of reporting her coworker Isla to supervisors for allegedly improper behaviour, the two were spotted having an intense conversation.

When Asha heard from her course instructor that Isla had been suspended because of the accusations, she became enraged and thought Nina was to blame.

Asha didn’t immediately trust Nina, despite her insistence that she had nothing to do with her paramedic instructor receiving criticism from superiors. This led to Nina having a heart-to-heart with her girlfriend’s twin, Aadi.

During their discussion, Aadi showered Nina with compliments as he told her how great she was as a person and how much he liked her – and it was at this point the pair leaned in for a smooch. But within seconds, Nina jumped up and regretted their romantic embrace.

And while both were to blame, it seems as though viewers were far more furious with Aadi, as he had initiated the kiss. Taking to X , also known as Twitter, one fan wrote: “Seriously, Aadi wtf?? A female so much as breathes in his direction and he’s all over them. Ffs!”

Another penned: “Stupid kiss aside, I suppose Nina who is full of self doubt (and a bit of jealousy maybe) needed to hear somebody say all the things to her that Aadi did.” Meanwhile, some were concerned that writers of the ITV soap would embark on a storyline of the two embarking on a full on affair.

Another person said: “Do NOT let them have an affair wtf nooooo.” Straight after her kiss, Nina went to see Asha who was confiding in Amy Barlow at home, as she realised the error of her ways. And while the pair seemed to make up, viewers saw the guilt written all over Nina’s face as she hugged Asha but appeared distraught.

This comes after Asha grew close to Isla during a paramedic course back in November and started to gush over her, leaving Nina feeling insecure about her commitment to the relationship. And after a spat, Asha tried to build bridges once again with Nina and arranged for them to meet Isla for lunch but Nina is sent into a jealous rage when she sees her girlfriend glammed up.

As Isla and Nina discuss work, Nina is left feeling isolated while Asha’s twin brother Aadi appears bored as he listens to their conversation. And it looked as though Nina’s relationship was heading for disaster when Asha was spotted smiling to herself as she received a text message from Isla. The once loved-up couple, who have been dating for for more than a year, have had their fair share of trouble in their relationship, as Nina struggled with her anxiety.
