From the first time he met Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) in EastEnders, Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) fell head over heels in love, and the two have been on quite the trip ever since.

When Anna discovered that Lucy Beale, Bobby Brazier’s murder victim, was really her half-sister, the road to true love was little derailled. In the midst of the confusion, she ended up having an affair with his closest friend, Freddie Slater.

Thankfully, the young couple has moved on from everything, and in a recent scene, Bobby took Anna out for a lovely dinner, however the date didn’t go as planned.

To Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) dismay, Bobby went to great lengths to impress his date, dousing himself in cologne and wearing in his finest shirt.

Cindy remained silent when Anna arrived and they headed to the restaurant, but she was even less thrilled when she found out who Bobby was going to date.

Things hadn’t quite gone as planned, however, as Gina Knight and Elaine Peacock (Francesca Henry and Harriet Thorpe) quickly saw Anna’s shocked appearance when they returned to the Square.

They were wondering what in the world had happened, and Anna and Bobby clarified that there had been a miscommunication at the restaurant.

They disclosed that Bobby had given them each a lobster order, but Anna was unaware that this would require seeing them cook the animals alive.

Bobby and Anna had intended to have dinner together, but instead they set out on a rescue mission, returning the lobsters to safety in the Square.

Cindy subsequently had a major shock upon seeing the “creatures” swimming about in the bathtub when she attempted to get in.

As Bobby described what had transpired, he seemed anxious, and Cindy quickly shot back, saying he had no idea who her daughter was.

Later on, Bobby argued that Anna hadn’t ruined their lunch and that he had still had fun, but Anna showed up again to apologise.

Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), who was making jokes about frying lobsters, arrived by while the two were still anxious about what to do with them and offered to transport them to Southend so they could be released.

While the lobsters live happily ever after, can Bobby and Anna have the same happiness?
