Emmerdale spoilers: Mandy Dingle stuns Chas with her reaction to her kiss with Paddy Kirk

In Emmerdale, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) and Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) indulged their sentimental impulses and shared a kiss during a tearful conversation about Lucy’s upcoming mastectomy.

Paddy immediately felt regret and told Mandy (Lisa Riley) all about his error. At the time, Mandy handled it in an unusually positive manner. She can only mask such emotions for so long, though.

The rest of the family is anxiously anticipating the results of Cain (Jeff Hordley), Caleb (Will Ash), and Aaron (Danny Miller)’s BRCA2 gene tests as Mandy analyzes Paddy’s inappropriate behavior.

When the findings are in, the whole clan is at a nervous time. With haste, the plaster is removed, and everyone exhales with relief—none of the three bears the BRCA2 gene.

Okay, so that’s a little secret of Aaron’s. For the time being.

Mandy and Chas finally meet for the first time since the kiss as the family celebrates the news that the three men have been given the all clear. Now that she’s over her concern about the outcome, Mandy is prepared to address the big issue.

Between the two, things are colder than an Eskimo’s behind. After Paddy shows Eve around to see Chas, Mandy shows up. Chas gets ready to give herself the full Mandy Dingle treatment.

The exchange is tense as expected, but all Mandy needs is a few stern words. When Mandy tells Chas she’s ready to move on and put everything behind them, Chas’s mouth drops.

Now that it’s over, Chas can stop worrying about her future. That is, until Mandy finds out that Chas—not Paddy—broke off the kiss.

This is a major setback for the woman, who just had to get over the embarrassing time when Paddy wouldn’t declare her his girlfriend in front of a bothersome old acquaintance.

Now that Mandy is aware that Paddy didn’t want the kiss to end, she is upset. How will Mandy respond?
